Why We Made Frozili

The Problem｜Too Much Caffeine, Too Little Clarity

We were a group of Yale students who knew late nights and foggy mornings a little too well. Coffee kept us awake, but the jitters, anxiety, and crash made everything worse. Peppermint mints weren't much help either; they delivered a quick burst of chill that disappeared in seconds, leaving no real clarity or comfort behind. We wanted something that could keep us alert without disturbing our nerves or sleep.

The Experiment｜Creating a Longer, Cleaner Lift

So we turned our home lab near Yale into a small candy workshop. Night after night, we experimented with coffee extracts, cooling agents, and herbal blends-trying to create something that melted slowly enough to stay with you.

Through dozens of failed batches, we realized the key wasn't just flavor-it was duration. A larger-format hard candy could hold a clean, refreshing chill far longer than any mint, keeping the mind steady instead of spiking the senses. We added a whisper of Eastern botanicals for balance and throat comfort, aiming for a gentler, more refined kind of focus.

The Result｜A Slow-Melting Coffee + Cooling Ritual

After months of trials and six more months refining the formula with food scientists, we created Frozili — Vitablabla's debut product.

A slow-melting, coffee-infused candy that unfolds in three stages: a soft Arabic bloom, a long, clean cooling rise, and a smooth, comforting finish.
